This little dinner party is coming along more quickly now that I don't have to deal with Tom Brady's issues any more. Men!
Have you ever performed a task at work that you struggled with quite a bit until you completed it, and the next time you did it, it was a breeze? Matthew McConaughey was much easier to capture than Tom Brady. Anyway, Matthew was fun to do and I got to look at lots of photos of him in the process. Art has so many benefits.
A few more details and it will be ready to frame and ship!
Oh Tom. The time for us to part ways is drawing near. What can I say? It was a wonderful, terrible time. You tried to keep hanging around, only to prolong the agonizing realization that it never would have worked out between us. You tortured me, tried to disguise yourself and keep me from achieving your likeness, but I finally saw through your mysterious illusion and unmasked the real you. This is one game that you cannot win, Tom. And now you must go. It's how it has to be. Oh that face, that face! I will never, ever forget you.
I'm back to work on this commission piece of Tim with his favorite celebs. I've been busy doing the pastel work, and it's fun to watch this thing come to life.
Here's a progress shot of Tim. He wants to be wearing a light blue suit, Trump in his usual suit and Brady and Matthew in whatever I thought best. So I'm dressing them up in tuxes! This is going to be a hugely tremendous dinner party, let me just tell you.
Thanks for the visit! See you soon with more updates.
